Kona Crown

"Kona Crown" is a beautifully vibrant original by Victoria Barnhill, made with her classic layering signature style, filled with texture and bold colors. The original "Charleston Crown" was made with southern flowers, and this painting was inspired by the tropical islands of Hawaii. The pineapple is the main focus, using metallic golds and bronzes. Crowning the pineapple is and array of tropical florals: plumeria, hibiscus, orchid, rose and bird of paradise. The textured brick background is the perfect backdrop for such a vibrant (and somehow delicate) focal point. 
 
Acrylic paint and other mixed media. This painting is 48" tall, and 36" wide, and is on gallery wrap canvas at 1.5" thick. Painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, comes signed and varnished, with signatures and specs written on the back as well.
